Van reservation requests and your personal details: what the form collects and how to delete it

Fields the form takes
Only what you type into the request form: your name, email, phone if given, the dates, the van, the city and your notes. The site keeps nothing in your browser. The host keeps standard server logs (address, time, page) for security for a short period.
If ads bring you here
If the desk advertises this site, the ad service may count visits that arrive from an ad and whether a request form was sent afterwards. When such measurement is in place, this section names the service and the choices you have, and any non-essential cookie waits for your consent.
Purpose and recipients
To answer the request and get you a quote. The information reaches the rental provider that writes the quote and the forwarding service that carries the message into the desk's inbox. Nothing is sold or shared for anyone's marketing.
Emails, calls and texts with the desk
Emails to the desk and the short notes the desk makes after a call (the date, what was asked, what was answered) are kept on the same terms as form requests. A phone number is used only to answer you the way you chose; texts and calls are not recorded.
Leave these out of the notes
Please keep driver's license details, card details, dates of birth and health details out of the notes. The provider collects what it needs at pickup.
Kept a year if unused, three if booked
Requests that do not become a reservation are deleted after twelve months; accepted ones are kept for three years for the desk's records.
Getting a copy of your details, or having them deleted
Ask to see, correct or delete your details at privacy@floridavanrentalcompany.com. The desk answers within thirty days, whichever state you live in; residents of a state with its own privacy statute keep every right that statute grants them.
Using these rights
The desk confirms a request by writing back to the email address or phone number on the original reservation request. Someone you authorize in writing may ask on your behalf. If the desk declines a request, it says why, and you may ask for the decision to be looked at again by writing to the same address; the second answer comes within thirty days.
Children
This form is for adults arranging their own rental. Nothing on it is intended to collect details of anyone under 16; the desk deletes any such details when it learns of them.
Encryption and who can read a request
Requests travel over an encrypted connection to the form service and the desk's inbox. Access is limited to the people who answer requests at the desk.
